I'm starting to be more productive (hooray)
and i stopped my rpg addiction already XD

A lot of things happened last year and this January as well, and i gotta say even though my new year isn't all that great because of personal reasons. I'm still very much happy and thankful to God He has been my strength throughout the years and this little fall wouldn't be much different because He helped me stand back up.

Anywho~ I've updated and did some minor editing on my past devart entries, so yeah you'll see some of my old works popping up in your "new deviant art" page.

Our Vigan trip was moved to Feb 16 instead of today which is Jan 30. Kinda sad and disappointed because I'm really hyped up for this and they moved the date suddenly, but yeah at least we're still going right? It's better than nothing.

So expect major updates when I come home from Vigan on the 18th. I'm gonna bring my Baby and her new Baby (18 - 135mm) which i bought recently with my savings. (woot)

I'm going to start doing some Gaia commissions so expect a lot of avatar arts being uploaded here as well.

Haven't been able to do pixel dolls (which i miss doing so much), It's just I'm finishing all my school requirements before I'll be able to do these things. Although my school workload is quite lighter than before, somehow my unexpected performance in school managed to get me a spot on the Dean's List and my parents have been hinting and expecting me to stay on that List.
(It's not like I'm aiming to be on that list, but I've been exerting more effort compared to before)

My cosplay plans are not going as planned as well and guess what has been the hindrance to that... lol school.

So yeah... that's basically it.

I used to watch that show in Betamax when i was a child, and i remember dancing along... I finally had a chance to watch it again.
And i got to say nothing beats the oldies... I still prefer watching this than the 3d Alvin and the Chipmunks movie. (Although it was also enjoyable to watch)

Haha! I've been singing the same song over and over again for days already.
It's driving me crazy...

Oh yeah! School already started and we're planning for our upcoming college week.
It only has been a week and I'm stressed out, burned and tired. Christmas vacation plox! XD

BTW. Recently got a new haircut, which made me look like a dude @___@, so they told me to cross dress on the parade day (college week).
I'm still thinking about it...

A lot of people have been mistaking me for a guy, it pisses me off sometimes when i hear comments like "OH MY! SHE LOOKS LIKE A GUY!" from random people. T__T
but all in all... I'm good.

Maybe Cross dressing can be my forte??? eh??? XD

I'm still in the process of doing the props for my upcoming cosplay, and i don't think I'll be able to finish it on time.
Me and a bunch of my friends are not yet sure if we'll go on Friday or Saturday.

I finally got Ma'am Mortel to sign my ID replacement Form, haha XD
I have been running around for 2 weeks trying to find her, basically my schedule isn't same with her teaching schedule and the fact is i have never seen or spoken to her before, and we all know it's very difficult to find someone whom you have never met before.

Haha so that's a big weight outta my shoulder!

I won't bother to tell you guys the full details of my ID signage journey, i still have to get 2 people to sign my form then HELLO NEW ID!

Yeah i lost my ID in SM San Lazaro? (not sure hah!)

Oh yeah we started doing stuff in school, although the load isn't quite heavy, unlike last year.

I'm looking forward to 2 drawing subjects, but still... i want to fast forward and have a vacation!

Did i mention that my PE this semester is football? The PE that i have been longing to get since first year!
I'm enjoying it, sweating and stuff... i might actually lose a few pounds or might gain more since i eat alot when i arrive home XD

I think i tanned a bit because of football... they say i look odd with dark skin since i'm pure chinese.
But i actually love getting a tan, but then i realized when i looked at the mirror that i really looked odd... XD hahaha!

COSPLAY... hmm...

We have our next cosplay planned out (as i mentioned before)
And i think me and my group and planning to join the group skit competition as well~
I might pee on my pants on stage... T.T
I scared of going up on stage and acting, acting has been my weakest point.

Oh yeah i found a multiply of a certain person with me and friend's picture (during mangaholix) while wearing our Shining Tears x Wind costumes.
Some mentioned that i was a "Trap" and assumed that i was gay.

Kind of teared me down abit, since basically that was my first time and i wasn't comfortable with a strapless and sleeveless top.

Hopefully they will learn and others as well, that assuming and giving comments that might not seem harmful, but can really hurt the person alot.

I was discouraged and i was thinking of stopping with my first cosplay since i don't see myself as a pretty girl and apparently pretty girls are quite a hit when cosplaying.

They said sorry... but still you can't really forget things like that so easily.

Good thing i have a friend that backed me up, and i'm thankful.

So yeah i'm considering crossplaying and doing characters that involve a boyish or mysterious personality, since cute and pretty doesn't suit me well.

And recently my account has been hacked, 4 years of my hardwork... gone...

it's really frustrating, because i have been posting alot and chatting just to be able to get the items that i have lost because i was hacked.

I was able to file a report.

i can't believe classes starts this wednesday...
I mean~ i hear alot of students complaining and hoping that classes starts soon because of boredom, but i think... summer vacation should extend abit more! haha XD a month or two... hahaha!
Even though i honestly don't think i did alot of productive things this summer, i'm still enjoying my vacation and i'm in no hurry to end it!
Lol i sound like a bum...

ENROLLMENT
Enrollment went by fast, the line wasn't that long and i'm grateful that God provided us our financial needs.
Our Shining Tears x Wind cosplay photoshoot also happened on the same day as our enrollment day.
It was tiring but a nice experience, i was able to get some (lucky) decent shots, but overall i'm not contented with the outcome of the pictures and i hope that there will be an opportunity for us to reshoot.

GRANDMAMA
Oh Yeah my grandmama is still in the hospital, her wound opened and they had to extend her stay in the hospital.
Fortunately it's not critical and she just had her 2nd operation today and it was successful.
God had been providing and given us comfort in this time as well...
And the doctor told us she'll be fine... so i'm happy with that great news.

SCHOOL YEAR
Anyways back to what i mentioned earlier.
Can't believe that classes are going to start soon, i already saw my schedule wasn't quite pleased with it, but all in all it's okay i guess. I have classes on saturdays again so goodbye conventions and fellowship. Although it's actually a good thing because i'll be able to not take the sunday worship service in my church for granted.

I'm expecting wonderful things this school year, and i hope that our profs will teach us interesting things like our tda subject last yr. it was amazingly fun and fruitful, the prof was teaching us alot of stuff that'll be helpful for work. And hopefully it'll be the same for this coming school year as well.

MANGAHOLIX
oh yeah we went to mangaholix 2008, lots of awesome cosplayers. I was only able to take a few shots of them because i was cosplaying aswell during the half of the time i spent in smx.
I was having a hard time taking pictures while in my Kureha costume, it was a hassle to bend down to pick up my stuff and change the cam's lens and to go to crowded places to be able to take pictures in the Kureha costume. So i decided to change...

If you ever saw a geeky looking girl wearing a white spageti strap top with a fishnet top over it, and also wearing blue jeans with slippers on....while holding a dlsr with a manual zoom lens (haha) well that might just be me... XD

There was a fellow photographer who was trying to talk to me while i was trying to take pictures of the cosplayers on the stage, i think it was Erving. Well... sorry about that XD I'm not quite talkative, and all i could reply to the things he said was "yeah" and smile like a weirdo XD
i go tongue tied whenever someone talks to me, especially if i'm not really close to that person.
So... gomen~

Oh yeah... to whoever that mentioned that i can't really do Kureha, i'm really sorry i didn't meet your standards. I also believe i didn't do her justice and basically i was disappointed at myself for letting you down.
So yeah sorry that i disappointed you during the convention...
